THERE IS STILL TIME TO PREVENT THE FLU

(ONLY children’s vaccine is currently available)

The Flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and lungs.  It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. Flu outbreaks can occur in Spring and Summer.  The best way to prevent the Flu is by getting the Flu vaccine each year.  Flu vaccination is recommended for everyone age 6 months and older.   If your children have not yet received a Flu shot, you can get it for no charge at the South Milwaukee Health Department.   Call for an appointment 414-768-8055.
